Delivery is free on all our gift boxes! We take card details at the time of booking to secure your chosen slot. No payment is taken from this card unless you cancel your photoshoot without giving at least 5 days notice. In this case, a £25 non-refundable fee will be charged.

Yes! We can make gift vouchers up to any amount and add these to your gift box. We can also add a personalised message with your gift vouchers too. Please note that gift vouchers are only valid if purchased in conjunction with a studio experience gift box.

During the viewing appointment there will be the opportunity to purchase any further images - these start at £85 for framed portraits and £195 for wall portraits but remember you do have £100 credit towards these to start you off and once you have purchased your first wall portrait, any additional ones are buy one get one free.
We also offer 0% interest payment plans allowing you to spread the cost of any investment.

Terms & Conditions: 1. The Voucher may not be used in conjunction with any other voucher, discount or offer; it is not redeemable for cash or goods and may only be used as described. 2. The Voucher may not be used to purchase photographs from previous photoshoots. 3 .The Voucher is valid only for a family, newborn, bump to baby, couples or pets & family photoshoot. This is at the discretion of the studio. 4. The photoshoot experience is valued at £175.00. 5. The complimentary 9”x7” portrait is valued at £85. 6. Your £100 voucher is redeemable against wall products only. 7. Other products are available to purchase at your compulsory viewing, which is at a slightly later date. Images cannot be viewed in any other way 8. You may only come in for one photoshoot per family per year unless purchased at the full price of £175. If you have been in recently, you may keep your voucher to use once 12 months has elapsed since your last session. 9. We take card details at the time of booking to secure your chosen slot. ZigZag Photography photoshoots involve some physical activity, which is undertaken at your own risk. 11. Your session will need to be booked in advance by calling the studio - we will ask for details of attendees plus contact details to complete the booking plus we will complete a telephone consultation of what you are hoping to achieve from your shoot. 12. Your voucher will need to be presented in the studio at the time of your session. 13. The studio is open for sessions Wednesdays-Saturdays and alternate Tuesday and Sundays. Newborn photoshoots are only available on weekdays 14. Finished products will be ready to collect from the studio in 4-6 weeks.

Some frequently asked questions about our photoshoots

Your session will take place in our professional portrait studio in Leicester. We’re in the Clarendon Park Road Area, just 10 minutes outside of the city centre.

Most of our sessions are an hour an a half long.
Newborn sessions are slightly longer at 2 hours long.

The studio is open Tuesday - Sundays. We offer evening appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Newborn sessions are only available on weekdays as we like to offer more time to ensure baby is happy and content and we recommend coming in when baby is under 14 days old if you are looking for sleepy posed images.

We recommend choosing neutral tones for your outfits, as they photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your family.
Consider the colour scheme of the space where you plan to display your images, ensuring everything complements your home’s style.
Try to avoid large logos or overly trendy pieces, as these can date your photos over time - remember, these images are meant to be cherished for years to come.
If you are bringing your baby for a newborn shoot, if you could dress them in a short sleeve white vest, this will help us to be able to swaddle them easier.A changing room is available on-site, so feel free to bring a few outfit options if you'd like to change up your look during the session.

Absolutely! Your four-legged friends are a special part of the family, so we’d love for you to bring them along. Just let us know when you book so we know who to expect!

You’re also welcome to bring along any special items you’d like to include in your photos - a favourite outfit, a personalised blanket, a name sign, or a favourite toy or hobby item. If you’re bringing your dog, don’t forget a few of their favourite treats! These personal touches make your session even more meaningful and unique to your family.
If you’re joining us for a newborn session, be sure to pack your nappy bag with all the essentials to keep your little one comfortable throughout the shoot.

We do ask that you bring your own props to the studio. This is to ensure that your photos are personalised to your family and capture your individuality. This can be toys, musical instruments, hobbies, interests or absolutely anything you can think of. It's always a good idea to have a look online for any ideas and inspiration. For newborn photoshoots, we do have a selection of props and swaddle material for you to use but still ask you to bring some of your own items along too. Your photographer will speak to you before hand to give you some advice and ideas.

Your photographer will capture a wide variety of images during your session - different styles, colour tones, and a mix of family groupings. After the shoot, they’ll carefully select the best 30–40 images and spend several hours perfecting each one. These beautifully finished photos will then be presented to you during your personal viewing session.

Your photographer will book you in for your viewing appointment at the end of your session. This is usually within 7 days.

You will need to come back to view your images. Sometimes we can plan this for the same day or the next day so please ask us about this when booking. We have customers travel from far and wide - Scotland, Wales, Bristol, London, Yorkshire, Leeds to name a few.

After your portrait session, you’ll be invited back for a dedicated viewing and ordering appointment at a later date.
This is when you’ll see your beautifully captured images for the first time and choose your favourites to order.
Once your selections are made, we allow 4–6 weeks for your final images and products to be expertly edited, finished, and prepared for collection.
