All of our newborn photoshoots take place on weekdays so that we can give you a little longer in the studio. We ensure that the studio is warm to make sure your baby is comfortable and allow time for feeds and changes. We recommend you bring your baby when they are under 10 days old to get the best chance of them being sleepy and curled up however this can’t always be guaranteed. Some babies are keen to see what’s going on around them and take centre stage being very alert. However your baby performs on the day, we always manage to capture beautiful images. Our photographers are very experienced with babies and have lots of methods to soothe them and keep them content.
You are welcome to also come in for a bump shoot for no additional charge.
For just £25 you will get a voucher for your photoshoot (or photoshoots) in our Leicester studio, all editing process, a one hour cinematic viewing appointment and an image from your show in a 9”x7” frame plus £100 off wall products, all neatly packed in our beautiful sleek new box.
Delivery is free on all our gift boxes! We take card details at the time of booking to secure your chosen slot. No payment is taken from this card unless you cancel your photoshoot without giving at least 5 days notice. In this case, a £25 non-refundable fee will be charged.

Delivery is free on our gift boxes. During the viewing appointment there will be the opportunity to purchase any further images - these start at £85 for framed portraits and £195 for wall portraits but remember you do have £100 credit towards these to start you off. We also offer 0% interest payment plans allowing you to spread the cost of any investment.

Some frequently asked questions about our newborn photoshoots

The first two weeks are a magical window - babies are sleepier and still love to curl up, just like they did in the womb. That’s why we recommend scheduling your session before your baby is 14 days old. We can get you booked in before baby is here for around their due date.

If you've pre-booked your session around your due date and your baby arrives early, just let us know as soon as you can - we’ll adjust your booking accordingly. If baby is running a little late, no problem! Just give us a call and we’ll happily reschedule your session.

For your baby’s photoshoot, please dress them in a short-sleeved white vest. This makes it easier for us to swaddle them without causing too much disturbance. Feel free to bring along any special outfits you'd like included in the session.
For parents and siblings, we recommend wearing neutral tones to keep the focus on your baby. A changing room is available on-site, so feel free to bring a few outfit options if you'd like to switch things up. -
While we’ll of course focus on capturing beautiful, timeless portraits of your baby on their own, this is also a special opportunity to celebrate your growing family.
Whether it’s tender moments with parents, sweet cuddles from siblings, or even multi-generational portraits, these early days are a perfect time to document the unique bonds and love that surround your newborn.

Your session includes up to two hours in the studio, giving us plenty of time to ensure your baby is calm, comfortable, and well cared for.
This relaxed pace allows time for feeding, changing, and settling your little one as needed - so there’s no rush, and we can capture those precious moments at your baby’s own rhythm. -
There’s no need to worry if your baby is fussy or unsettled on the day of the shoot - this is completely normal, and we’re fully prepared for it.
Our photographers are highly experienced in working with newborns and know all the gentle tricks to help soothe and settle your baby. We always allow plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, and breaks as needed, so your little one can feel as relaxed as possible.Even if your baby is more alert during the session, we’ll still capture a beautiful gallery of images - awake or asleep, every moment is special and worth remembering.

Our photographers are expertly trained in newborn safety and posing, so you and your baby will be in the safest and most caring hands.
With years of experience working with newborns, they understand how important it is to ensure both baby and parents feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire session.

We provide a beautiful selection of props, including swaddling blankets, baskets, and headbands, to enhance your photoshoot experience.
We also encourage you to bring any personal items you'd like to include- this helps make your images truly unique and special to your family. -
Be sure to bring your usual nappy bag with all your everyday essentials- nappies, wipes, bottles, dummies, and anything else your baby might need.
In addition to that, feel free to bring along any special items you’d love to include in the photos. This could be a favourite outfit, a personalised blanket, a name sign, or a meaningful toy. These little touches help make your session even more personal and unique to your family. -
Your session will take place in our professional portrait studio in Leicester.

After your portrait session, you’ll be invited back for a dedicated viewing and ordering appointment at a later date.
This is when you’ll see your beautifully captured images for the first time and choose your favourites to order.Once your selections are made, we allow 4–6 weeks for your final images and products to be expertly edited, finished, and prepared for collection.
